A Poem Titled Little Black Girl by Paradise's Storm

Little black girl
Never let them tell you that you won’t make it in this world
Little black girl
Skin full of melanin, head full of curls
Appreciate your mind, body, and soul
They won’t
They’ll try to break you
They’ll try to tear down every part of you
When this happens remember you are strong and you are fierce
And you will make it

Little American Black girl
You are unique and exotic
You’ll spend a life time trying to find yourself if you don’t get it
Don’t get that you are Amazing
You are loved
You are mimicked
They’re jealous and they’ll never admit it

Little Black American Girl
Don’t try to fit in
Stand out
Stand up for who you are
That little black girl
Because we’re all that we got
