Conquer Fear

Looking down through clear skies on the airplane

Seeing squares of green land made perfectly

Makes me think one day I’ll scratch sky diving off my bucket list 

One day I’ll feel the worst fear of my life

And I’ll face my fears in that very moment

Feeling a sense of confidence and excitement

Feeling like I can do anything 

Fear is a great emotion 

But overcoming that fear feels liberating 

Learning that the world is a scary place, one that you don’t know

One that you can explore and see and know that it’s more out there

That the world doesn’t stop with just you, your neighborhood, your city, your state, your country, your continent, and not even your earth 🌏 

You wonder about gravity and how it even holds you up 

You wonder about life and what it’s really about 

What life is really for 

And why you were granted a life on earth

You think about dying and think it won’t be so bad

We’re suppose to die right 

There has been plenty life before and after us

What makes life so important

What makes us want to hold on to life

What makes us afraid to die 

We’re suppose to die right

We are so afraid to die we forget to live

Forget that we won’t be here forever or for long

Forget that some aren’t blessed with life 

Some lives are taken away

Why let fear hold us back

Why let any emotion control us 

If we can conquer fear, we can conquer anything

The greatest life is a fear-conquering life
